This is an egg. It froze in my refridgerator and the yolk inside expanded. When it was taken out, I took this picture.

reminds me of the day my boiled egg exploded with a huge "Phudd" sound when i went to reheat it in the microwave... Never reheat a boiled egg in the microwave if you don't know the right settings.
i guess it would happen everytime you heat it beyond 100 degree C.
